Common questions
How much does Christmas light installation cost?
Most homes run $6 to $10 per linear foot of roofline, which puts a typical single family home between $600 and $900. That price includes the lights, installation, service calls during the season, takedown and storage. Trees, shrubs and wreaths are priced per item on the same quote.
Do I have to buy the lights?
No. The lights are included in the price. We supply commercial grade LEDs, cut to fit your home, and we store them for you after the season. Next year the same set goes back up on your house.
When should I book?
As early as you can. We install from late October through early December, and most of the dates before Thanksgiving are gone by early November. Booking now gets you the best choice of install dates.
When do the lights come down?
We take everything down in January. The takedown is included. You never touch a ladder or a storage bin.
What if a section stops working?
Call or text us and we come fix it at no charge, usually within a couple of days. That is included in every install for the whole season.
Can you hang lights I already own?
We only install lights we supply. Our LEDs are brighter, cut to your roofline and covered by our free service calls. We cannot stand behind store bought strands the same way.
Will the install damage my roof or gutters?
No. We use plastic clips made for shingles, gutters and trim. No staples, no nails and no holes. Nothing is left behind when the lights come down.
Do I need to be home for the install?
No. We only need access to an outdoor outlet. We set the lights on a timer so they come on at dusk and turn off at the time you choose.
Do you do commercial properties?
Yes. We light storefronts, office buildings, HOA entrances and apartment communities. Commercial jobs get a site visit and a written proposal.
